Trip to Hobart {Conference weekend}

Last Thursday as a family we made the treck down to hobart for the weekend, seeing as it was Conference Weekend, I didn't feel bad that I would be leaving Primary.

It was a beautiful day, although there were road works pretty much the whole way down.  We arrived around lunch time and went to visit GG and Mare {Jake's grandparents}.

We then went to Jake's parents home as he had decided he wanted to cook the same meal that he made for me the other week for them.  Lindy had already prepared dinner, so we made the entree and desert instead.

On Friday we went to the pool with all the Hobart Cousins.  Harri loved it! anything to do with water or being outside he just loves.

Livy was a great big cousin helping with all the littlies.

Harri wanted to go down the slide with all the cousins, so Livy was kind enough to take him down. Harri loved it.

{This was actually before he went down with Livy}

All the cousins playing together. Thanks for a great weekend guys, we loved hanging out with you all, can't wait to see you again soon.

We had a birthday tea for Jake with all the fam {would have been better with Aim, Jimbo, Eli and Meg there too}.  We all had to say one thing we loved about Jake, and then we had a singing session for all the kids, Livy was very helpful in telling us what songs we could sing, each cousin got to pick a song.  Harri picked popcorn popping {well we did, but it is his favourite song}  He had been quite grumpy until this point, but when we started singing he just gave a massive smile.

We spent Saturday with Grandma and Grandad, helping them try to decide on the tiles for the Kitchen they are renovating.  Harri loved to play out on the deck, and I tried to teach him how to crawl down the stairs backwards, but as per usual he didn't want any help and had to do it himself.
{Unforunately I didn't get any photos of the rest of the weekend, but it was lovely to catch up with all the family.}

Sunday we went to conference, it was great, I will blog more about that later.

All in all it was a great weekend, and can't wait to go back for Easter.
