We were lucky enough to have Jake home for two weeks on Holidays, which meant we were able to stay in Hobart for two weeks after Christmas. It was lovely spending time with all of the family. We were able to do a few things, such as the Tahune Airwalk with all of Lindy's side of the family {even in the pouring rain - though it did clear up}, the Taste of Tasmania with my side of the family, Salamanca, the Antique Fair, New Norfolk, and just generally enjoying our time away.
Tahune Airwalk
Ok so for some reason I can't upload anymore photos to this post so you will just have to imagine the rest.
But all in all we had a lovely time away, but are also very glad to be back home in our on beds, although Harri has been very sick since we got back and I have spent a night or two sleeping on Harri's floor with him as he would not go to sleep without one of us right next to him. He is on the mend now and for the past two nights has gone to sleep on his own, however he still wakes up every two hours, and will go back to sleep with either a bottle or me rocking him to sleep, however the latter is becoming quite hard as he is very heavy now { can you believe he only weighs 9.5kgs}.
Some people have told me that I should just let him cry himself back to sleep at his age, but I am a strong believer that babies can only communicate through crying and as such are obviously in need of something. This belief however is starting to send me a little bonkers with lack of sleep, but as Jake tells me when I have a little breakdown about advice given to me regarding the above, at least he knows that we love him, and are trying to raise him to be the best he can be.
